An Introduction to the Birds of Tropical America


Cuckoos are geenerally known for laying eggs in the nests of other birds. Oftentimes a small sparrow will have to raise a much larger bird, and will have to work very hard to find enough food. But many species of cuckoos make their own nests.

Anis look much different than most cuckoos. Anis are found in open areas and are becoming more common with deforestation.
